P.K. Krishnakumar

 Worked for 22 years as a scientist at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute Kochi, India, and for 12 years as a faculty member at the Applied Research Center for Environment and Marine Studies at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Currently serving as an environmental consultant with over 30 years of experience in marine ecology, environmental impact assessment (EIA), biodiversity assessment, climate change research, environmental monitoring, and conservation in India and Middle East. Expertise gained through service on the Roster of Experts established by the GEF-UNEP, consulting for the Asian Development Bank, and serving on the Board of the Society for Conservation Biology-Asia (SCB-Asia).
